FPG Core Values

FPG Team members are identified, qualified, and evaluated based upon these Core Values.

  1. Next Generation – We are motivated by Jesus and His Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20). We operate in a personal calling by God to next-generation ministry.
  1. Pass the Mic – Our strategy is to multiply the minister and messenger. We use our appointed gifts and roles to build up the Body and empower others (Eph 4:12).
  1. “Plans don’t work, People work.” – We are self-motivated as unto the Lord (Col 3:23); self-managing, diligent, reliable, and entrepreneurial. All plans and strategies work on paper, but only the faithful efforts and unique gifts of people that bring them to life.
  1. Christlikness – Our clear standard is Jesus Christ (Gal 4:19, Phil 2). Above all else, we have a clear attitude of humility among all FPG team members and partners. (Phil 2, Eph 5:1-2).
  1. Family – We love, honor, and submit to one another beyond the work (John 13:24, Romans 12:10, 1 Cor 16:16, Eph 4:2, Gal 6:2). We value healthy relationships as children of God, brothers and sisters, who represent God’s family values.
  1. International First / Local First / Nex-Gen First – The ministry belongs to the young people in their community. We serve them. We value the experiences and cultures of our partners and adjust to meet the local needs.

Denominational Affiliation

FPG is a multi-denominational. We believe in unity of the Body out of obedience to Christ (John 15, 1 Cor 1:10) and a shared commitment to the Great Commission (Matt 28). We recognize and value the faithfulness and contributions of many protestant leaders and denominations. Theology that brings God glory should bring a spirit of humility and love, not superiority and self-righteousness. We believe that we can work cooperatively with many leaders and denominations while respecting differences in non-essential doctrines.

Partnership with FPG does not require adherence to specific denominational affiliations. Each potential partnership will be prayerfully evaluated on an individual basis, guided by discernment through the Holy Spirit and in alignment with our Core Values and Statement of Faith.
