There is a Humanitarian Crisis in Moldova!
Imagine winter without heat. No gas, no firewood, no way to cook food. This is the reality for thousands of families in Transnistria, a small, unique section of Moldova.
What’s Happening?
Transnistria is a breakaway region between Moldova and Ukraine. It’s not recognized as its own country, but it is polically aligned with Russia. So it depends on Russia for it’s natural gas. Now, because of the current state of the Russian war on Ukraine, it has cut off gas supplies, leaving families, business, and the few evangelical churches freezing in the middle of winter.
But they are not without hope!
First Priority leaders in Moldova and Transnistria are ready to lead the church to meet the needs of their neighbors. Once again, the followers of Jesus will share hope by providing generators, cut firewood, and meals for families.
