San – Ni – Ichi

San – Ni – Ichi is 321 in Japanese.

Cup Game

Everyone divides up into pairs. Each pair needs a cup or an object to place in between them. The caller calls out body parts (head, knees, toes, hips, shoulders) and the players touch those body parts. When the caller says “cup” they reach down and the first to grab the cup wins.

Memory Race Car

We have a screen game. You will choose one person to be the contestant. Tell them, “On the screen you will see a countdown on a traffic light. It will go red, yellow, green. Then you will see a car coming towards you. It is really fast. What I want you to notice is the number on the license plate.”

After you play the video you will see 6 options and the person will try and guess which one is correct. After they choose, ask the crowd to give a thumbs up and say “you got it” if they agree. Then ask if the crowd if they think the contestant is wrong to give thumbs down and say, “NOPE”

The contestant can change if they want. If they are correct… they get a piece of candy.

You need one ball (soccer ball, basketball, or kickball size). The group gets in a circle and one person gets in the middle. The person in the middle closes their eyes and the group has the pass the ball around, they cannot hand it to the person next to them. You will count down from 10. When you get near to zero, one person hides the ball behind their back and the person in the middle opens their eyes. They get 3 guesses to find who has the ball behind their back.
